Pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean and comfortable our twin room was — would have absolutely no hesitation in staying again! Mattresses very comfy, location quiet and convenient, breakfast nice, and the 24-hour pizza service a yummy treat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only major downside would be the toilet doors offering very little privacy… but shy guests will be glad to know there are private loos by reception.

Great stay!! You get more for what you pay for, comfortable bed for a solo traveler like me, hot and cold water with good pressure, room is cleaned everyday , I had a long travel from Mexico to Belfast and Ibis hotel was a great option for me, close to ulster hall and there’s a few restaurants and a pub near the area. I’m very happy with my stay I would absolutely recommend, plus staff was very lovely when I checked in, overall the staff is happy to help at any time! Also something that I liked is that you can link your Netflix and YouTube account to the room tv ! the only complaint I would have is that the WiFi is kinda slow, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t but overall It was good experience.

We found the Ibis Budget, a really pleasant hotel to stay in. Rooms were very clean, the shower was great, there is a TV with Netflix and we found the temperature controls really easy to use. The staff were very polite, the clears were very diligent and you even get complimentary pastries in the morning, which was nice touch. Of course it’s a little basic but it’s such good value for the price. Overall, it’s a great location with great access to the city centre.

We actually booked this hotel by mistake - we thought we were booking the non-budget one but by the time we'd realised our mistake it was too late as it was non-refundable! On looking at the reviews I was....worried - lots about noise, it being unclean, generally not great. So I was a little on tender hooks when I first arrived. The staff were kind and polite (and helpful, borrowed some cutlery and Oat milk during our stay). They took our card details for any potential damages which I found strange but it's not totally out of the norm. The room itself was clean and more than adequate. No weird smells or stains. Shower was a good temperature and pressure, bed was comfy. Pillows were a little lacklustre but soon got used to it. Blackout blind was great, as was the aircon. Comfortable to stay in for a few nights. We had a bunk bed too (but only used it to chuck our clothes on) which was neat. My partner appreciated there was a cover on the peep hole which is often missed in hotels making a small, irritating light on the door at night. Didn't have any real issues with noise on our 3 night stay (apart from a stag party down the hall in the wee hours, but that's not the hotels fault). No outside/road noise at all, our room overlooked the car park behind the chicken place next to it. Probably the only negatives were that along the halls they have those periodical air freshener sprayers mounted along the wall. I'm quite sensitive to smell but even for someone that isn't I feel that it was overly fragrant/chemical in the halls. Didn't seep into the room, though. I guess there were some stains on the hallway floor? But they were clearly historical. Same with the lift, there was a couple of buttons that were pressed in/semi broken but...meh. Room wise the bathroom light is on a timer when you open the door, and it's WAY too long. Like, at least 20 minutes after you've left it which can be a pain at night. The light controls on the top of the headboard are useful but also emit a slightly irritating glow in the dark that you can't turn off. Both fixable, the bathroom light can be unplugged from the plug on the left of the tube very easily and you can take the room card out to turn the power off to the headboard controls. If you do that - the aircon stays powered too which is handy! Overall a pleasant surprise, and I would stay again. Fit the bill for us very well. I'd take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. I feel that a lot of people don't realise that you are staying in a 2* budget hotel, the clue is in the name. You're not going to be doted upon, yes there is no kettle in the room and it's all in the main area, you won't get Egyptian cotton towels and sheets and your view will probably be of the high street, a wall or a car park. But you pay for what you get. It's clean, comfortable, safe, well located & good value.

Great location. Rooms were small, would be okay for a night or two, no more. Continental breakfast was great. Facilities like pool table and games available at reception. Within walking distance to the city centre and restaurants and pubs nearby. Room was clean and tidy.

Lots of reviews saying the rooms are small, I found it very comfortable, especially for the price. Easily accommodates a couple for a couple of nights. The room and hotel was very clean and lots of bars, restaurants within walking distance. Absolutely fine for a few nights.

Rooms are small and basic but kept very clean, but it's a budget hotel and was what was expected. The staff were all really cheerful and helpful. It's in a pretty good location so all in all a good budget hotel.

Lovely basic rooms, very comfortable beds. No frills, no fuss, but very comfy rooms. We had to turn the thermostat down as it was set at 22° , even though it was a very cold night the rooms were cosy. Staff were second to none, helpful and friendly.
